Blackdown Tableland National Park
Venture into the past
Blackdown Tableland National Park protects a sandstone plateau rising 600m above the flat plains of Central Queensland. This park features ancient rock art painted thousands of years ago on cliffs and caves. Travel by 2WD or 4WD—driving with care on the loose gravel roads—through country featuring spectacular steep sided gorges, rockpools and waterfalls. You will require a 4WD to travel on the Loop Road to Mitha Boongulla.
