Crows Nest National Park

Get among the gum trees

Enjoy the variety of eucalypts—and perhaps learn to tell a stringybark from an ironbark or a bloodwood—at Crows Nest National Park, where spectacular creek scenery, granite outcrops and a waterfall will enthral you. If you sit patiently by Crows Nest Creek you might spy a platypus, or even a brush-tailed rock-wallaby bounding across rocky cliffs and boulders.

Location and getting there

Crows Nest: 56km N of Toowoomba. Access is via the New England Hwy and Crows Nest.
